Elvis opened up this decade as a world wide star. On this side of the pond, the Beatles, and later John and Yoko (see 1970’s) changed things for ever.

Through the haze of strange smelling smoke came the hippies and Sony and Cher type characters.

Like the survivors of this great decade tell us, if you can remember a lot about the 60’s, you weren’t really there!
